Favre Makes His Players Better to the End

Disappointing as the Packers season was this year, cheeseheads never tired of watching 15 year vetran Brett Favre passionatetly leading his team to be better. Despite injuries and heartbreaking losses, Favre always played every game as if it was the superbowl. In the packer's final game of the season, late in the game, Antonio Chatman missed a pass that could have led to a touchdown because he ran the wrong route. Favre got right in his face about it and told him what he should have done, but the very next play he went to Chatman on a slant and got the first down with a nice gain. I have to admit that I got a little choked up when I saw that play. Here was Favre in possibly the last game of the season still making the players around him better. You have to admire a quarterback like Favre who leaves nothing on the field, who plays every game body & soul, and who inspires others to be better.

May we leave nothing on the field!
